ESFD is happy to announce the return of our CERT Training Program. This is a hybrid course. You must complete the online class before joining us in person on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Station 2. Each academy is approximately 20 hours long and is a hybrid of online and in-class instruction. The online course requires 12 hours of study. Upon completion of this course you qualify for an eight-hour hands on training day at El Segundo Fire Station 2. There are eight modules of instruction divided into disaster preparedness, fire suppression, utility control, emergency medical operations, light search and rescue, CERT organization, disaster psychology and terrorism.
