The El Segundo Firefighters Association and Rock & Brews Restaurant Present... Rock & Run! A race inspired by axes and guitars. Test your firefighter endurance on a 5K course through our beach city. Once you finish the run, come celebrate your achievement at the exclusive Rock & Brews Afterparty! Where Live Rock Music, Incredible Food, and a Beer Garden await your arrival. Proceeds from this event will benefit local charities.

Please take notice of the road closures shown on map below. Streets will open as the race progresses. 
Streets affected included: 
-300 Block to 700 Block of Main St
-100 Block to 800 Block of E Maple Ave
-800 Block of Maryland St
-900 Block to 1600 Block of Walnut Ave
-800 Block to 600 Block of Washington St
-1500 Block of Mariposa Ave
-500 Block to 200 Block of Kansas St
-1300 Block to 100 Block of Franklin Ave

Here are a few tips to help you prepare:

1️⃣ Driveways along the route may be temporarily blocked by runners, making it difficult to exit safely during the race. If you plan on leaving that morning, we recommend parking on the nearest cross street so you’ll have an easy way in and out without delays.

2️⃣ If you live within the route, no problem! You’ll still have access through the major intersection at Main St. and Grand Ave.

⏱️ Road closures will be in effect Saturday 9/27 from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Streets will reopen in phases as runners clear each section. For example, Main St. will likely reopen around 9:40 AM, followed by the next streets in order.
