The City of El Segundo Fire Department's Fire Prevention Division

The El Segundo Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Division is responsible for enforcing fire/life safety, and reducing the risk to loss of life and property. Fire Prevention staff perform annual fire inspections for commercial and multi-residential buildings, technical plan reviews, and fire investigations. Community risk reduction is the top priority of the Fire Prevention division.
